Pocket money varies depending on the host country but the average is 70 € weekly.

Au Pair Plus

She might be asked to work, depending on the family, between 30/40 per week, and baby-sit two evenings per week. She should be given weekends free.

Pocket money varies depending on the host country being the average of 90€/100€ weekly.

Summer Au Pair

The Summer Au Pair Programme is for young people who want to improve their knowledge of a language but cannot travel at any other time of the year.

As children do not attend school, there will be more work and, being a short stay, families will need someone easily adaptable. Au Pairs shall never confuse this program with holidays.

Pocket money and working hours will depend on the type of Au Pair required by the Host Family (Au Pair standard or Au Pair plus).

Au Pairs enrolled in this program will have to be ready to travel at any moment, since due to the short time of stay, it might happen that when contacting with the suitable Host Family they need an Au Pair immediately.
